Now I will admit that I am a harry potter freak, I do not wanna hear anything about how reading, watching, and enjoying HP makes me fluffy,J.K. Rowling made me want to join the Craft. I won't lie I would much rather prefer if the magic in HP was real instead of the magick of the Craft (I still enjoy the Craft though). And I was wondering if it is possible to be invisible and it is possible to charm clothes or jewelry so that they make you more or less noticeable or less depressed or something like that, wouldn't it be possible to make an invisibility cloak? with the right ingredients and time of course....Thoughts please?
Well many on here would say no and I'm personally leaning more in there direction, but it would be pretty exciting to find out you can.
I know you can consecrate (charm) an item with a spell that would make you less depressed even change your life in a more positive direction, but the invisible thing well I like to keep an open mind. Just keep in mind if such a thing were possible you won't find anything like that here or probubly on the web.
I wasn't wondering if it was possible I was wondering if anyone was going to (or already was) trying to do it (as I am,however I stink at writing spells). Also I believe you misunderstood me,that or I mis-typed, what I meant was...you know how when you use a ceremonial robe your spells seem more powerful? well what if we had an impossibly short and easy invisibility spell, and simply used the same outfit every time it would just get stronger and stronger.

when it comes to popular culture influencing people into the path, there are worse sources. the cloak, interesting question really, yes, and at the same time a huge, resounding no [quote i use a lot, don't take offense] you can use an illusion spell to shield yourself from certain peoples view, or to go unnoticed at certain times. but a cloak of invisibility no. you cannot turn invisible, but you can create a vale that would shield you from peoples gaze.

One can use what is referred to as a glamor spell to aid them in becoming less noticeable by others. This type of magic is used for protection to keep one safe. A glamor to hide ones presence or cause one to be less noticeable works by influencing other people's perception of you. Meaning you cause the other person or people not to perceive or sense your presence. One of the simplest ways to accomplish this type of glamor is to add it to your shielding technics. Chants work well for getting this done quickly. Please note this type of magic is not going to work on all people and in all situations.
