Yes there is alot of fluffy going on in SoM but there is not much we can do about it, me along with many others have posted topics like this so there is no need for more. I do agree with you but more posts like this just feed the fluffy. What we can do is when we come by fluffy posts just keep cool headed and just tell them logical sence. Dont say YOUR WRONG!!! Instead dont say anything, there like toddlers if you tell them to stop they just keep on doing it. The best thing to do is keep our mouths shut.

Dark Blessings.

I agree to a point Darkest. But some ask that truly are ignorant and do not know so we should just say "No it is not possible. " No harm in that.

"Fluffs" are, in my opinion, just individuals that have an exaggerated view of magic and the like. Hollywood has glamorized magic to the point that every youth of the world thinks that they can either use it to fly, become a mythical creature, become immortal or so on and so forth. Others want to escape a life that they are unsatisfied with and believe that magic can help them accomplish that.

If we want to improve the "fluff" around here then we can stop complaining about it and work to correct the issue. The site staff can only do so much, after all, and the "fluffies" probably aren't going to go away any time soon.

Offer the facts and try to help them see the truth behind the fiction. If they see the light and wake up that's great, and if they don't then move on and try to help the next individual in the same situation.

How will the ones who are truly misguided ever see they are misguided if they aren't shown?

I'll tell you all a little secret about me few know, when I first began on this site, and into truly studying magic, I was partially fluffy, and partially not. Part of me wanted so badly to believe in a fictional world where things could be so much, cooler, for lack of a better world.

After a while with the help of some good friends (who didn't even know I fed into this desire for the world to be different than it is), I realized I didn't really care for the fantasy as much as for the reality. The important thing that did it for me was that I couldn't keep feeding into this fictional reality, whereimpossible things happened that I knew deep down weren't real.

It's part of the reason I keep trying, regardless of the time I've spent on this site, to change just one fluffy's mind...because it's the one you help to change into a better person that appreciates it the most, even if they never thank you for it, or make any recognition that you helped them in anyway.

Oddly enough, in my life, some of the people who hurt me the most helped me to learn the most. And maybe that makes all the difference in the world. To me that makes it worth it to try to reach someone.

How about you?

all of America is an insult to the English Language when compared with the British. Also I don't think that your use of 'Fluffy' is very kind you people calling someone a fluffy could be the one thing that pushes them to suicide, another thing is that when people see someone calling themselves a demi-God, leave them alone! It could be in their religion that they are a demigod

Magic is a flower that shines brightly for all who seek it. Some see the flower, others see the leaves, and some they focouse on the stem. But look at the roots and before that the seed. There are many possibles and inpossibles. Magic is part of our every day life its the roots of us all. So in that its in our mind anything is possible as long as we belive it to be. If one get rid of all the leaves but then the flower is plain. When one pick a flower from it's stem it will die. But most important, up root it and it will disapear for ever. It true that there are many here who do not know what they say they do and thouse who belives in anything that they think make sense, but We the older one have to be patient and not let them get to us. To help one back on the right path you do not push them you guide them.

Somper, I wouldn't insult the written word of another language considering that a few of the American members have proper grammar.

Heh, I think you are on the right track, however I don't think there really is a right path to put a person on. When I deal with anything I find ridiculous, I correct, kindly, then I let it go if they continue to argue that they are a ___.

I'm not really interested in helping the trolls get their bit of fun. ;)
