I think telekinesis is possible, though very difficult. Personally, (I don't care if you believe me or not, this is what I remember) I have had some success manipulating a swinging object that was already swinging (I made it swing more or less in certain directions) and I once turned the glitter in a lava lamp, I could tell by the reflection of light off of each of the flecks losing brightness (it was only the flecks I was concentrating on, I watched the other around it and the lamp hadn't been turned on in years).

Telekinesis is not responsible for the movement of the planetary bodies. The planetary bodies move because of inertia, momentum, gravity, the expansion of the universe, etc.

Please educate yourself before decided magic is the answer, or you doom us to appearing to be folk who sacrificed children for favorable winds and to stop volcanoes.

Making the flame dance is called Pyrokinesis and is pretty easy all you gotta do is focus on the flame and make it move the way you want. You could also make the flame grow bigger or smaller.

Wow, its amazing how quick a solid conversation can turn into a zoo.

Personally I believe that Telekinesis in the media form is completely "Faux" as only Stephen King could portray. However much like Raven and Awake pointed out on some levels of the subconscious mind we have loads of untapped abilities, so aspects of it maybe possible. I tend to think that with energy workings we are controlling energy with only our minds, do we not? To me this seems to be the clearest use of it being done for real just not in the methods of moving real world objects. (throwing in my 2 cents)

Telekinesis.
Yes, it is possible.
The question is: What do you want it?
If you go through life listening to your heart, it automatically displays in the way of disclosure of all the abilities that you need for this embodiment.
But if you are interested in:
- Learn to consciously hold your energy, move it in space (see books and practice a lot on the Internet)
- Open your chakras and allow the energy to freely reach the top down and bottom-up
- Become aware of themselves in the physical body
- Realize their oneness with each cell of the physical world
- Develop willpower
And there has to be obtained automatically over time, the physics will be heard as easily as a thin plane))

Actually read the book:
Osho -"Here and Now," "On Love",
Andrew Sidersky- "Third opening of force."
An interesting book- "The Matrix 5: Key ascent" of the early practices of good in Fier "Path of Magic." Good old charged texts, such as the Slavonic-Aryan Vedas or the Bible.
But any infu always spend through the filter of his own heart.

God I hope its real. Moving things physically is SUCH a pain. :)

In response to this, I believe telekinesis is something one is born with, like telepathy. On the other hand, who's to say we're not ALL born with it? On rare occasions I've accidentally blown corks off of champagne bottles and have had small objects fall off of shelves. But in all honesty, if one can believe in spells and potions, why can't they believe in telekinesis? Why is mental manifestations of energy being solidified in the physical world such a stretch from love potions and revenge spells? Trust in what you know and what you can do. I have, and my friends are especially grateful for my insight into their lives. :)

It's real. The reason I say this is because I am telekinetic. Problem is, I can't control it the majority of the time D:

That being said, it's generally either a start motion (Something falls or takes a flying leap, generally) or a stop motion (stops motion... DUH)

Examples of both:
Start Motion:
Things tend to fall on people who upset me. This happened a LOT more when I was little. The other kids started calling me a witch >:(
One time I was using the bathroom. I reached for the TP and it flew (quite literally) across the room. Needless to say, I was in a pickle, because it wouldn't fly back.

Stop Motion: My Mom was moving around some totes. Insert falling tote and stop motion telekinesis. That being said, it's not like she would have gotten hurt had it landed.

Whenever It happens, it feels almost like a jolt of electricity, at least for me, and the incidents that are more noticable tend to happen frequently for a short ammount of time and then "Poof"... nothing or very little for a good, long time.

Telekinesis is impossible. Magick doesn't work by manipulating physical objects. Magick has strong influences to make something happen, but no telekinesis. Telekinesis is a fictional and fluffy power. If you honest to whatever God you follow believe you can move objects with your mind, film it and show a scientist so you can become a superhero.

Ok I didn't read all comments, but I find it amusing that so many people, not just in this topic, think like "I can't do it so neither can you." Listening to negativity certainly won't help you.
