I am an eclectic witch, but have many christian witches in my coven. And many wiccans, and other faiths, it is about acceptance. Well I believe all beliefs should be accepted, we are no better then others if we keep trying to shove our beliefs down someone else's throat. just my thoughts on this issue.

what about under the goddess if we try to change the wording of every document ever written in christian form we will be fighting a never ending battle we know witchcraft was around long before Christianity, it has been proven a thousand times over. This is why Christianity persecuted us, and tore down our temples. and hung so many people to try to prove their worth but in this day and age we need to stop fighting each other and join together. There is enough violence in the world without us adding to it. But I very much believe it is time to start accepting each other.

Well i only have a problem because being Christian is stupid because it can be disproved and its easy to show there is no god and the bible is a lie

Actually, the US was formed christian. There were no other religions for the longest time, as most americans based their beliefs on england still.

Tanner, those are your beliefs, not everyones. Sounds to me like you're doing exactly what you're blaming christians for. Bit of hypocrisy, don't ya think? Not trying to be rude, but I'm just saying how it seems.

I like that idea. The governments solution is to just take that part out of the pledge and this displeases lots of people. Changing it to Gods is a more logical solution and solves a high percentage of the issues with the whole situation. Great idea. I'm on board with it 100%.

Why not just remove it so one has anything to fight about?

The us was not formed on strictly christian beliefs. Read into your history. It was formed as a place where people could escape religious persecution and practice any faith they chose.

If you change it to gods, the you just insulted me. Im deeply Christian (but I integrate other knowledge into it). There is one God. Read my report in the other thread about this.
