this is a condition called parasomnia...I am including a link for you to review the information if you wish. A note on the seeming uneducated issue...there is nothing so likely to make one seem uneducated and illiterate as continual bad grammer and atrocious spelling.

Let I remind you acidshadow this is a cite where everyone is allowed to ask questions. If someone is curious and wants people opinions, you will most likely get response within the first day. Everyone is welcomed to ask questions, in fact encouraged to.

I'm going to disagree with the "stress" repeat.

Parasomnia and almost all sleep disorders are most often hereditary. My mother spoke in her sleep and gritted her teeth, I have since a child, and my daughter has since she was an infant (gritting once she had teeth). My mother-in-law can wake up and walk around, have an argument with someone for hours, lay back down and never remember it. My husband has done some sleep walking and talking.

My dog even barks and attempts to chew in his sleep (quite cute actually). And I doubt he's stressed. He's spoiled rotten.

If a symptom appears out of the blue, THEN it could be stress. But you made no indication in your post that this just began to occur. And in fact implied that it happens on and off regularly. Ask your parents, I'm sure one or both have or had experienced similar things.
