i am Christian and we believe in hell but not the way lots do. my church does not believe in magick but i do not believe it is wrong to do Magick. i think hell is just a place of misery when you have sinned and you have to be really bad to go there. just because you are not religio=us does not mean you are going against god if you believe n something different by all means believe what you want to believe you can deny hell. but you cannot deny god.

The Church cannot deny magick when they claim transubstantiation of the eucharist and wine into the body and blood of Jesus--taken from god eating rituals of the Egyptians. What is the incense for? To make it smell pretty or to "bless"--magick. Why are their candles lit? It isn't for light, it is symbolic...it is magick. What are the prayers for but not to call upon the attention of certain powers? Prayer did not originate with Christianity, it's been a part of every form of spirituality since the beginning. Prayer or petitioning is apart of magick. Prayer is used to protect, heal, and banish negativity. Amulets (in the form of medalions of saints and angels, "holy" pictures, jewelry, and crosses) are used for protection.

Like I said, the Bible is not against "magick". Never is that said. It only has claims against those who hurt people, be it with actions, words, or magick. It is also against divination. Even the translations of "never suffer a witch to live" and other such quotes is mistranslations skewed purposely when such things as the inquisition and witchhunts became popular. That particular quote is actually translated "never suffer a poisoner to live".

People can and do deny that the Hebrew god is the God. Most pagan do. Until Christianity, YHWH was the only god of Jewish and Pre-Jewish (Kabbalist) religion. There were and are still many other views on the source of creation. Christianity would never have become so large if it was not accepted in Rome and forced upon its people. Than more rulers forced it upon their people. That is the only reason it is the largest religion. It isn't that it is more correct, it is that it was more forceful throughout history. There are also athiests that believe in no higher power.

Religion is human made by people who perceive spirituality through their own perspective. Therefore there is no right or wrong deity. Only a difference of personal opinion.
