I recently found out about a wonderful way to flush chemicals and other toxins from the body safely, and thought I would share it with you all.
Boil a small pot of water and remove from heat. Steep 4-6 bags of green tea, or about half a cup of the fresh leaves. Remove the bags (strain leaves) and add half a cup lemon juice and half a cup of sea salt or Epsom salts to the water. Pour into bath and soak. Even if your sparkling clean, you can see the water change color as toxins are drawn out through your pores.
I suggest using it in the morning, because overnight your body tries to purge itself of these toxins. As an added benefit, scrub your body with a rough bristled body brush, from head to toe. This removes dead skin cells that trap in toxins and sweat. It always leaves me feeling refreshed and ready for the day.
