okay here's a thought. is it possible to add magical essence to a single word? like when you say it and it mean something, like you say the word fire and you add magical essence to it and it actually create fire upon an object you focused the word upon. is it possible to do this?

I personally don't know anything about magick being manifested to take physical form with a word, but I do know that words are powerful all on their own. Words give objects power.

I had a pretty cool dream a few years ago that involved the physical manifestation of magicks happening through a single word. (though the dream seem more real than reality). And since then I've questioned the matter. I think it's possible but practice is involved along with finding the right word and programming(?) it to give the desired results when spoken. (just saying but I know I wasn't the only person to think on such a subject long before skyrim was came out)

There have been several studies of Tibetan monks over the years involving their deep meditative states - they use chants and prayers (sometimes spoken aloud, sometimes not, but it's all words!) to attain a deeper level of consciousness, but the energy they use actually generates enough heat to dry wet towels.

Here's the link for a particular story involving that: http://news.harvard.edu/gazette/2002/04.18/09-tummo.html

Not sure if it directly relates to what you're trying to find out, but it's interesting nevertheless.

well im just curious if you can because ive noticed that since some spells are activated by saying or chanting specific words, that the words themselves must have some kind of magical energy somehow

yes i recommend reading instant magick by christopher mpenzack it seems to be alot of what you would need to follow through with this concept. magic is powerful and through meditation and trance you can often produce spectacular effecvts through a single word if enough power is used and the word has enough powerful symbolism to you.

Many words have certain energies to begin with, while certain words combined with the energy of people create new energy for the word.

I can use the word ribbon and have the energy feel and be entirely different than if someone else used the word ribbon because it has a special meaning to me and it may have a different special meaning to them.
