I think that depends on what tradition of witchcraft you follow Zelator.
Franz Bardon passed away 10/7/58 I believe and the Alexandrian tradition was founded in the early 60s which consists of a fair amount of ceremonial magick.

there is many views on this, it all depends on your beliefs. there isnt a point to argue whos right and whos wrong, but stating your view is enough :)

Believe what you will. If you had any research or knowledge on "High magick" Not your mistake that I did not say Magician but High Magician. You are of error. Read the posts well.

A Witch And Magician both mean the same thing, a Magick practitioner though the word witch has more of nature based connotation and Magician has more of a astrological/astral traveler connotation. Though in the late 19th and 20th centuries illusionist and stage performers began to use the term magician to shroud there performance in mystery. However, modern illusionist are starting to no longer call themselves Magicians but rather illusionist.
