In an effort to probe for a little more information, could you give a brief history of when it happened/why you think it happened, etc? I also wouldn't consider it a "friend" if it's trying to harm you.

"And as for "naming" him. If he is such a good "friend" why hasn't he given you his real name? If he hasn't that means he doesn't trust you, yet you trust him enough to give him control of your body? " I definitely side with WhiteR. on this. You should not have to "name" them, as generally you will get a name if they are indeed as close as you say. "As for naming him, none of the demons that I encounter give me a name or they just give me a name I know isn't theirs" How do you know that it isn't their name?

This is your personal choice, but I wouldn't let him possess you. Very strange things will happen if he possesses you a long time (i.e. you will speak in many languages, curse the name of God and Christ, turn crosses upside down whenever you see them). If you cannot get him out, i would recommend talking to a local priest who will exorcise the demon. Make sure you tell the priest his name, it will save you a lot of pain and trouble.

.....I'm not sure where the idea that turning a cross upside down was wrong.

It's actually the symbol for St. Peter who was supposedly crucified upside down and was worn to show respect for him.

It wasn't until recently that people saw this as something "evil".

Either way, possession is often misunderstood, as already mentioned. Taking a being into your body is done frequently in a few different rituals, though usually it's done to take in a specific deity. Throw the word demon and possession into it and it suddenly turns into something terrible.

If you do let a being into your body, there should be a pretty decent reason behind and not just because it says so or you have nothing better to do for the evening.

Well thank you all for your thoughts and I guess questions lol. But I have decided to maybe get rid of them if that is even possible for me because I have no clue how. It makes me sad to let them go but I guess what has to be done, has to be done.

Go talk to a priest, if that is not possible talk to someone who is into Witchcraft with lots of experience, if that is not possible get a friend to start looking up exorcism rituals on the internet, preferably someone who is into the craft, or has knowledge in this kind of thing. If you don't know someone who does, you better catch them up to speed real quickly, do some research, find a room where you are that doesn't have a lot of breakable objects in it. Then remove all paintings, small objects, Tv's, and anything that can be thrown across the room. Doing this is likely to make the demon really mad. Be sure that anyone else who can be injured or harmed is out of the house. Also, be sure to keep some salt with you, if all else fails swallow the salt. It would be better if your friend can bless it for you. I'm not sure how effective salt is on strong possessions, but I know it at least works on weak ones. So, get a small glass of water and put some salt in it, and drink it when you feel like you need to. Trust me, the salt thing works wonders on possessions, at least when poltergeists are involved. Not sure about demons though, but I am sure it works the same way. I would also try to look up some Occult shops in your area and see if you can find someone knowledgeable if the whole priest thing doesn't work out because I don't think all priests believe in possessions. Anyway, if you find an Occult shop somewhere, they'll most likely be able to help you one on one and observe your situation better than everyone on here can over the internet, no offense to anyone here.

When I said doing this, I meant the exorcism. Also, after I talked about the salt, when I said I'm sure this will work, I meant to say I hope this will work.

Then go talk to your parents, or the person who takes care of you's friend. Find someone that will believe you out of your mom's friends. Preferably someone who is Catholic or into the craft because they might know what to do. Or, you could go to witchvox.com and try and find a coven in your area. I wouldn't suggest waltzing right in but, if they have a phone number you can call then try and explain the situation. More than likely you can find somebody who can help. Also, did you find any occult shops in your area on google? If you found one, contact them and see if they know what to do. Also if one of your parents/ or guardian(s) has a friend who is Catholic and it won't offend your parents ask him/her to take you to her church. Then, after church, sneak away and go to see the priest. He most likely will be able to help you, or can point you in the direction of someone who can. So, get help even if you have to walk for miles to the nearest Catholic church, do it. Go get help for yourself. Even if it's ten, twenty, or thirty miles you have to walk, you still have to get there.

Please don't tell me you don't have a church where you live? The pastor/priest will be more than willing to help you.
