As a side note.. Your book of shadows is not only your personal journey in magic but can be a history of your ancestors and those that have helped you to learn. Even though it is called a book it does not have to be a physical book. You can use photo albums, tape recordings etc. to enhance your "B.o.S" however I do recommend you make it personal. Add any touch to it that helps to make it more yours. My written one has decorations and photographs of my path and life through my years of magic :)

i havent even started mine yet.. i wouldnt have much to put in it

Yes experiences are always good to write down as youcan refer to it later if you need to. Spells are also useful to put in, in an emergency or when you really need a spell you can simply look it up in your book.Any information you can put in, maybe about your spirit guide or research on your totem animal.

I have a BoS. Its pretty cool, its an actuall BoS with blank pages. i love it. I actually have two BoS, the other one is a binder

I often find that I don't know where to start when putting something to a blank sheet of paper (this happens to me a lot when drawing). How I get past that is that I'll start doodling something lightly, like a sketched before lineart, that way I can anchor my mind in creating something.
