Honesty I (and likely most) would accept space as the fifth before lightening. And now that It's mentioned, that elemental key you shared does have a striking resemblance to quite a few video games I play.. let us thicken the line between "fantasy" and "reality" please.

First of all before we go fighting, the elements depends on your religion and religious veiws. If your a pagan or wiccian then the element are spirit, air, fire, earth, water(The five points of the pentagram)or just fire, water, air, earth.Plus imma_new are you new to magick? Also these forums are public to members and non-members of spellsofmagic.Plus you can't tell a mod they can't reply to a forum.I have study magick since I was three,I have been doing it since I was nine and i'm fourteen years old now so I know the elements.

If you're going to break it down that way Imma, then you had might as well take it a thousand steps further and say that 'fish' and 'shoe' are also elements. :P Spirit, which is sometimes interchangeable with Akasha or the Void, depending on your views, is considered the fifth element becuase it is representative of the creative force of Life. It is a combination of all of the elements as much as the absence of them. I personally only recognize Fire, Earth, Air, and Water as elements. Any combinations or sub-elements really just tend to over-complicate things. And I do agree that your system does resemble that of a video game, though I admire your creativity on the subject.

Be Well.

I would like to know where you get your information from. I have not heard that lightening was an element. I have alway heard that there are 4 elements (Fire, Water, Air, and Earth) with Spirit in the center of the circle. Could you please cite where you found your information so that others can check it out for them selves?

We are all on our own path, and we all have our own opinions, and that is great!
Forum is for learning, growth and teaching.
Posting your own opinion, and then when others post different opinions, is part of the growth and learning. To send them an email telling them
"Thank you for saying ''in your opinion'' on my post, but like i said, its best to message me if you disagree with the elements."

is not right, in my opinion. You do not have to agree with everyone, but you do need to respect every ones right to disagree, or agree with your opinion.
To each their own.
If you post in forum, then all answers and opinions in forum should be allowed (in my opinion)

I strongly disagree with your take on the elements. I have yet to see any tradition that disregards the spirit and replaces it with lightnif. Or a tradition that combines them. Since you brought up that you are sticking to the facts, I would love to see your sources, for the sake of learning.

I do not believe your five elements are fact, but opinion.
As are my five elements. I stick to the traditional air, fire, water, earth and spirit. You are free to choose whatever 5, 10, 23 elements that you want, but your opinion is still not fact.

I tend to think of elements in a primary/secondary manner.

Primary being the main/general ones earth, air, fire, and water.

Secondary being combinations of these and other, lesser known ones.
