After death comes paradise for the faithful and good-hearted. When I die, I meet my true love to boot! So when, the time comes, Ill gladly accept my death.

if you want to cheat death is easy!

You will know new the time has come and when she comes you let you body rest and when it start walk the road alone and you meet her and call you, you hug her like a friend of old you feel her sweet arms and soft breath and you welcome her and then you walk together the lonely road to rest like friend...

that is the greatest form of cheat death in my opinion why fear what is certain?

We are eternal spiritually speaking. But by means we cannot cheat death forever, we can perhaps use magic to push death away but it will come eventually whether in 1 year or 100 years death will reach a person. We are human and we all must die, no matter how powerful we are at magic. We all die, it is just human and the cycle of nature.

destiny and fate determines when you will die. you never "cheat" death only some people perceive it as so. don't trust your perceptions, they are just a mask. anyway, cheating death or living forever is impossible. how horrible would the world be, and really think about it, if even a single person was allowed to live forever. we all must die and only if you accept it can you overcome the fear of his cold embrace.

Thanks, Yog. You've got me worrying again. >.< To think that you would learn all of those lessons simply to die sounds somewhat unfair. What are you really working towards? If anything... Why exist at all if you cannot continue on?

Cheating death would mean dying and coming back, mostly the person would be brought back by the help of another through a defibrillator or CPR.I mean once your dead your body is useless.

Dodging death would mean you somehow know the outcome of an action that would take place causing you demise and your able to prevent it.

Eventually our bodies will give up on us because the cells in our bodies will be worn out from multiplying which is why we get old, cells are copy of cells which means they aren't really new(original).

Unless they can find a way to create a "potion" that will enhance the power of cells that multiply causing a longer life.

Yes, the secrets are kept. This is an old thread that intrigued me; so here I am. Have you ever dreamed you were someone else? Have you ever dreamed you were attacked but it was not you that was attacked. Would/could this be described as a first person out of body experience? Then did and were you able to track it down in the news? In my case, the experiences ended in death. But....what if I could stay within someone and then move to someone else! If I can firmly document and support the fact that I can "occupy" someone who is in absolute terror, could it be possible to change, uhm, my host and move from person to person?

When I was young, my grandfather woke me in the early hours of the morning to
