Yo why don't you email the moderators by saying thanks instead of making a post about this. The posts are open to everyone, and making a post called mods only is offensive. You wouldn't like it if I made a post for everyone except grg. Do you understand? =)
In all fairness kind of pointless looking to much into what has been said, the person just wanted to say Thanks to the Moderators, Used a bad choice of wording but the heart and meaning was there. So instead of just ripping into things leave it be saves a lot of time and effort in making pointless replies.
I agree with Ret, the sarcasm and smirky replies are not beneficial to anyone. Although I do have to say that in addition to Pet and the Mods, that we all make up SoM what it is, and therefore we should all bne thankful of each other, and appreciate that we have this place. We all have to cooperate with one another to get anywhere right, so let's do that more peacefully and proactively as a community. Just my simple thoughts on the matter.
Some people forget english is no the first language for some and how things are worded don't always come across, it is a nice gesture they do work hard, and its nice to see someone showing the thanks. But as said also everyone does make SoM what it is, without some of the member to help spread they have none of us would be able to learn so thank you to mods and all.
It was of benefit to someone, might I say. I got an answer did I not? Grg and I didn't argue, I was skeptical, but he gladly answered my question. The benefit in that is Grg having one less person on the website who doesn't respect him, seeing as no one quite gets along with everyone.
Do comprehend for me, that it's not often people here do things like this out of pure intentions, I'm sure a couple people who have read this know exactly what I'm talking about, and my snarky comments are simply me, 'keepin' it real'.
I'm not sure if anyone actually answered the question from above, about why Grg didn't just email them. Well to speak fairly in Grg's favor, if you email too many people something without changing up the message, it can sometimes be considered spam. So the only thing I found questionable about this thread's creation was merely the title. :)
