I love the way crystals talk to us and makes you chose them. For example I picked up a small pebble when I was five and I've never thrown it out. I have a small collection of all different sizes. Also another thing I like is that crystals have been around at the start of the universe, which is older than any antique :)

I have stones from all over the country. Some that came from gold mines, some that were just sitting on the side of the road, some from creeks, some I don't know what they are, some from museums, some from hillsides, some from everywhere. And somehow I managed not to lose but a few of them. Lol.

I buy some from stores. When I do so I use a wandering technique to find the ones that call out to me. I wander about the store and look at everything, and whatever draws me I keep in mind when I go back through the store. I handle what draws me and of course look at the price tag. If I like the feel of the stone and the price I buy it. When I'm there for a particular purpose I keep the purpose in mind while I search.

Others may have other ways of finding what they need though. Lol.

I also collect rocks. Ones that I am drawn to and sometimes ones that are just beautiful, whether it be their color shape or texture that makes them beautiful. I love finding things in nature rather than buying them from stores, unless o course it's something that I can't find in my region. Like fe crystals I dig in the side of arkansas mountains :) one was given to me by and Indian medicine man :).
