Ummm yeah basically what the title says :P I thought i knew a few things about magic, but it turns out I know nothing really, not even the basics. And reading books won't do it because if I had books like that in my house I'd probably be sent to a psych ward... So if someone could mentor me until i can successfully do a spell or even further after i would really appreciate it:)

First of all, you don't have to have a mentor. :) You're your best teacher.Literally. A mentor could definitely help you of course(* a good mentor ,that is). However, you also don't have to have books in your house. There are lots of people(younger people mostly) who practice in secret, because their parents are Christians. If you can post this, you got internet, and if you got internet, you can find TONS of books on magick online... in pdf form and what not, so don't get discouraged. Also, you can learn a lot of stuff from the forums of this site, and in chat( recent posts or even older ones). Sit down, read, study, learn, practice, do your own research, and if you got any questions, all you need to do is ask, simple as that. Books are definitely good. But there are a few things you can't learn from books. You see them in practice. So practice what you're learning. Hope this helps. :)
