I just want to point out that not everything dies. Several gods survive and baldr will be the new leader for them.
Also the story dosent mention anything about the world that the vanir lives in.
Also, two humans will survive named Lif and Lifthrasir.

Or read the Eddas instead. So you dont need to find dodgy sites. I think am pretty sure a libary in the nearest city got them. Or you maybe can order them on internet.

Ive looked for them in several librairies near both my mom and my dad, both places are in the middle of areas that dont care much for knowledge

You should try to find an ebook, much easier to find and cheaper if you have to pay at all.
