Okay, well I have actually taken chemistry classand the teacher said that was what a catalyst was. Again...look at my scientific example!!! Then you tell me the correct term for it, okay? Great! Awake, you may be right...OR...someone thought of a convenient, all-encompassing term that way people would not have to spend time explaining what they meant!? Just a thought right there.

Since when is all of the awesome glory of Google always a creditable source? I took chemistry and physics and never once was it called "force craft" Once again I have to say be more choosy in your sources and don't believe everything you read.

Sorry, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE don't think that I would EVER call chemistry or physics "force craft"! : Now, I was using the term "catalyst" to help with the explaination. Of course I know that "force craft" or any other magickal term is NOTthe same as Chemistry and/or Physics. I'm sorry if I conveyed that message!

I would point out that your awesome, all encompassing term is requiring substantial explanation and justification right now.

It is therefore the same as "energy manipulation" or "magic" or "psionics" or any other such term that melds together under the same concept. This is therefore just another new term that will further muddy the waters... and frankly, we're already hip deep. I'm not sure it's mud any more, either.

Why does it seem you try to pick on Thunor? I find this very usfull, and now I'm starting to regret marking that force craft spell list as spam, even if I could swear it was based of Dungeons & Dragons.

I'm not picking on him specifically. There is simply no need for another new term to be created to describe old practices that are already confused by multiple terms meaning the same thing.

Um, no..."energy manipulation" has VERY little precendence in this context. Of course it is the same as "magick"! Psionics is very different, in that in psionics, works are not used.

"Works" are not used but the same end is achieved. Energy manipulation was just another example of a term used to prove that we don't need more.

Are you even proving your point any more, or just scratching at the dirt, hoping for grubs?

Sorry Awake, I misunderstood your point in this case. I understand what you mean now, thanks for clarification.
