Spring Cleaning?

There are some spells on this site which are either fake spells or simply made up. I have been going around, asking the posters of high-ranking spells to admit if their spell had ACTUALLY worked or not, but I am only one person. The mods ought to check out each spell on the site for a sort of "spring cleaning". I am not trying to insult the mods or anybody else, but a number of spells on this site ought to be removed for being fake.

I would suggest a process of asking the poster of the spell if the spell worked first, then testing the spell for yourself. If neither is conclusive, then the spell should be taken down.

This is only my belief and a suggestion, not a command nor a threat. It's just that this well-made site is starting to get a bit cluttered is all.

I think before worrying about whether or not the spell works the mods should look at the ones that are so fake it's actually painful to look at them.

examples include
-jump spell
-the spells that just have a URL
-a number of the wish spells

Oh, and also, a LOT of the spells on this site are in spellbooks that make absolutely no sense. the mods should try to put them where they belong if they can.

I came across a perfectly good solution to this, by someone else, add a comment box under the spells

Perhaps one should check before posting the same idea that has been posted repeatedly within the last few weeks, to see what other resolutions were posed.

Forum etiquette. Fancy thing, that.

Seriously it doesn't mather if its real or not because ther is no real or not, just ask yourself if this is impossible because magic wont make it possible, and by the way it is always batter to use your own spells because they are just words the caster is the one who gives them their power

First thing to understand is that the Mods on this site do not have the ability to delete spells from the various spellbooks.

Only the Site Administrator can delete spells and he is far too busy to go through every single spell on this site to determine whether they are genuine or not. In addition, he doesn't delete even fake spells because he believes that they draw people to the site and then the experienced practitioners here can teach them about real magic.

So posting this topic over and over isn't going to result in any changes.

Rather than worry about the spells on this site, perhaps make your own? If you choose to use strictly from what you find online you will most likely find a lot of "fakes". Some are obviously just garbage. However different things work for different people. Look at the spells subjectively. Is it something you believe will work? If not it will obviously not work for you, as you have to believe what you are doing is working.
