8 drops of chamomile oil (even the dried chamomile will do)
10 drops of lavender oil
12 drops of marjoram oil
Mix the above in sweet almond oil or avacado oil or olive oil. Store the mixture in the bottle.
You can add a few drops of this in your bath before bedtime, sprinkle two to three drops on your pillow, add it to your oil burner or give yourself a head massage with it..
Like brysing mentioned, you need to calm you over active mind, try the following techniques.
1. If the sugar in your hot cuppa cocoa doesnt work, then add some saffron to warm milk with a dash of honey
2. Read a big fat boring book, like the telephone directory
3. When you're in bed, inhale deeply and exhale slowly with your eyes shut. Every time you exhale, whisper the word "sleep" under your breath
