Magickal Limits
By: / Beginner

I've noticed there has been a lot of posts, covens, and other sites that think Magick is Anime, TV shows, games and books, and just anything they can think of. So I'll like to make a reminder to those and a small warning to the ones that don't understand.

Magick is how we shape our lives. It isn't about flying, controlling rocks, or blasting our foes. It is just about us choosing our lifestyle and what road were going to pick. Spells are just a way for us to send a good blessing to the Gods and Goddess and to ourselves to set something right. That is how I see magick, not just trying to be something we are not. If you still think Magick is about doing the Impossible, then you truly don't understand and just doing it for the wrong reasons.

Hopefully I reached out to you guys, even just one person will make a difference.

i agree nash, to me it is a way of life , like getting up in the morning and thanking the goddess for the sun to warm my face and to walk in the woods to reconnect with mother earth

Magic can do wonderous things, but it does follow rules.

There are reasons for the way everything works, and dispite magic's reach it still has rules. This isnt a bad thing, it simply how things Are.

Im glad that you've posted this Nash. It shows alot.

Yes, nash, we have gone over this before. Magic is not a toy. It can be dangerous if used incorrectly or by an inexperienced magic user. It is not like harry potter and requires alot of study and concentration. There are many things that hollywood are doing now-a-days to change peoples views on magic. Not everything you see on t.v. or in the movies are true.

Even if it has been talked over a few times, it is in the past is it not? There are new people going into the Magick life and they search online for the answers. Most of them find this site and settle down here. Do they go threw all the old posts? Maybe, but they also read all the posts and join covens that don't really teach Magick. I believe this post and a few people agreeing can make a difference, so don't act like this won't change a thing.

yeah but why bother, this post like the rest will just get buried in the pile of "helps" "read me" "how do i become a vampire" and so forth and so on.

That is true and all. But hey that is like someone not wanting to read a good book because they will forget about it later on. Maybe Pet should add a little note before you sign up for the site about this kind of stuff.

Personal I don't like to think that Magick has limits for anything is possible for in the cosmos anything can be created and done , however there is reality, we are human and to live each day needs magic in it self. It is hard enough to control ones own life let alone try to control things that have no personal importance to life such as "flying, controlling rocks, or blasting our foes". I just think life is harder that picking up a rock, going on a plain , and buying a blow torch. LOL ;)
