I never said "Nothing is dangerous". Everything is dangerous if you make it that. Even a butter knife can cut you if you use it right. It is, however, foolish to believe that everything will try to kill you if it can. I feel I have met some demons in the past and our relations were nothing but amicable, however that being said you "upset" a demon and yes, it probably will eat your face off. That being said a "love and light" angel will do the same dang thing (or worse even!!) as a "dark and evil" demon.

Why not think perhaps that you are wrong once in a while about things rather than you are right all the time? Different people view things in a different way than you do. They act differently than you do. Did you ever stop to think that fearing a demon could "upset" it and egg it into attacking you rather than "its just mean and evil and bad and yucky because so and so says"?

Chill out Lady!! When people deal with demons it is wise to be careful. Why do people attack someone who is trying to deal with a question on a post? You give me advice which has nothing to do with the original post. If you want to debate me, then lets spare the masses, and do so in private mail.

How is asking someone if they are crazy for wishing to summon a demon being helpful in anyway? Rather than condemning someone for asking for information, perhaps it should be provided in a helpful way. Such as the "Goetia is a helpful reference for demon summoning, however the practices used in it may not be the best so you should change some of the details so it works in your paradigm (system of belief)" or perhaps a link such as this:

Any being you try to bind to yourself or an object that doesn't want to be bound is going to be grouchy. Demon, Angel, Spirit, whatever other entity you can think of.

Demons are not all dangerous and mean. That doesn't mean every single one is a cuddly teddy bear either. Each one has a different personality, different likes/dislikes, ect.

A working relationship with demons can be very beneficial and is the better route to go if you are trying to gain information/knowledge.

Now, I'm not saying every kid should go make a triangle and try to bring one forth. Like any entity, it will size you up. If you are calling it to do some ridiculous job and it can see that you are weak (it's definition of weak, not yours), you can bet it's going to play with you like a cat toy. To be honest, I would do the same thing.

I have worked with demons before and found the experience pleasant and informative. I have yet to have a problem with the beings themselves. I see more comments from people who either 1. Have never experienced one and are going based off of stories 2. People who tried to summon and command one which turned out bad and 3. People who experienced something negative and chalk it up to being a demon. All of which lead to a biased opinion.

I don't encourage a couple of kids to play with them for kicks...but frankly, if they don't listen to reason, why not let them get their butts handed to them.

I think we can all agree with the statement "demons are dangerous." Whether you interpret the word as encapsulating the embodiment of all evil or as simply another variety of spirit, I have never met anybody who was worth their salt speak of dealing with a demon (or angel or spirit) as though they were minor things that cannot cause harm if dealt with poorly.

If your going something and your a begginer, choose an entity from the arbatel of magic. From my personal expierience, I would suggest Phul or Bethor, here is a nice ritual format to evoke bethor step by step.
