Byrsing, all you can do these days, it seems, is shake your head at the oxymoron. The meaning of words seems a thing that people can bend to their own desires.

okay after seeing all this i really need to clear the air, we can argue all day and get to no where, as vixen said Christianity and witchcraft happen to be similar cause they adopted the old ways in a way they wanted.

As pertaining to God and pagan views of the goddess etc, its the SAME THING! we all worship the same divine creator, but i must tell you we are talking on the modern bible and trying to gather a proper aspect of God in there is impossible since that book was edited to condition and mentally enslave the minds of people across the world. If you control a man's religion you control what they believe their mind. So with that said, i must note that there are some good hints here and there still left in the bible but most of it was edited to suit the mortal corrupted writers, for eg, the church due to the mental enslavement teaches people that they will burn in hell for all eternity for not repenting etc. - RUBBISH

This is why karma and the grand equilibrium exist.

The ancient egyptians and the indians and many other ancient civilizations around the world spoke about how the soul reincarnates into different bodies learning life lessons as it grows, the real hell, is simply a state of negative consciousness and astral vibration in which frustration is felt, but it is not a burn forever scenario, i cannot go to deep into that for it will take too much time so i must move to the aspect of nature worship, the ancient egptians were known for giving homage to nature, this was regarded as "wrong" by modern Christianity since they do not understand the divine science since they were taught the teachings of mental enslavement in the first place.Wicca just as all other ancient practices understood the nature and the environment "The earth is the lord's and its fullness there of"

we must understand that being closer the nature opens the doors to what is truly heaven not some bright looking place where people where white gowns and sing hyms. lol

well i hope i don't confuse anyone with what i said, feel free to ask questions.

Black, not everyone believes that every deity is part of the same universal, all encompassing divinity, karma, reincarnation, or all the rest.

I preferred when Pagan mean country dweller or rustic. There was far less hoopla before we changed the meaning to suit our needs.

Pagan never meant rustic or country dweller. It was created to define non Christian people by Christians.

Look up "paganus" and tell me what you find.

All words have an origin. Their definitions, however, change or have more added to them according to what a majority want them to be.
