Actually Pagan, Pet has and uses his authorty and Admin buttons to replace Priests and Priestesses if/when he has the time and sees that the person is capable of the task and spoken for by a few members.

Pagan you just made a post looking for a priestess for you coven did you not? So why can't Psyvamp ask for priestess/priest himself just because he is a concerned member?

This forum is for promoting your own coven and discussing issues.

To me, this is an issue. If there are any inactive p/p's out there I think that SOM members/mods should know about it so that we can help find a solution.

Whether it is to help the member find a new family, convince the p/p that they need to find others to replace them, or last resort vote for someone and bring it to Petrarca's attention.

Psyvamp, I suggest you do your best to contact your p/p and ask them if they are willing to replace their spots with someone else. Start a thread asking the members how they feel about it and what they would like to see happen in the coven. Then perhaps go from there.

I agree, we should be proactive to get active people in the covens as priest and priestesses, but my only point was that this person should have spoken to the other members and council of the coven before he posted this in the open, which it doesnt sound like he has.

another point is that he has only posted 3 times in his coven's forum in 2 months, to many, he would be labeled as inactive.

I agree with giving active helpful members of covens the title of priest/priestess if the leader(s) are inactive and the council or a majority of the members supports them, but this person has only posted 3 times in his coven, and no other coven members have come to talk on his behalf. thats my only point.

I completely agree with giving active members a shot, but there needs to be an attempt at activity.

Yes, but he never said and you never asked if he asked his coven first before you jumped up and down. (Not choosing sides just trying to help you see fairly in the situation).

In any case, yes.. I agree. One to make Priest/Priestess must first be active.

I like how he began when he was the age of 1.

Whatever the case may be with this guy's logic, have you tried working with the leaders? They may "rarely" get on, but that's more often than never.

Being positive here :P,

Inactive? No I'm not. Hi there I'm the High Priestess of Teen Witches, my profile clearly says I have internet problems this makes it difficult to come on here often. So when I do I dont post on the forums at all. However I always reply to pm's to which I have stated many times before, this is why I get alot of messages. As for the running of the forums, the council is updated regularly so they can look after it. The thing is for some reason many council members I have appointed tell me they have been removed from the council I do not know why but have no knowledge of this. The High Priest, I dont know where he is and havent spoken to him in along while. As little as it may appear I am here trust me Im around so in future I'd prefer if you'd pm me if you have a problem.

Just as a suggestion, Power_Witch, perhaps you should spend your limited time online in trying to find an active counter part who can make up for your some what limited activity due to internet problems.

Having a Priest who is online frequently may also help you figure out why your council members seem to have their status disappear on a whim.

Personally, I think being a Priest or Priestess is more than just having a purple label next to your name in a coven chat and answering a few personal mails. You are the expression of your coven, you are the main teacher. Leaving lessons to the council members and not adding to the knowledge yourself or taking the time to write of your own personal knowledge shows a lack of interest in anything other than the status of being head of a coven.

I can understand having internet issues. I think most of us can, but if you cannot get online much and when you do don't have time to post lessons, answer forum issues, ect. perhaps it's time to think about what is best for the coven as a whole.

Just an opinion of course.
