gods and goddesses

There have been Gods and Goddesses for many thousands of years!
With many changes of names. For thousands of years the main deity was female; also with many names from Astara to Venus. Also many minor Gods; even Christians have them--saints.
There have been two main "trinities". The Christian Trinity of Father,Son, and Holy Ghost. The Egyptian, Osiris,Isis. and Horus.
Perhaps it is better not to make sacrifices to any of the Gods or Goddesses. It was done very much in the past, and caused much harm to Mankind. Ask for help and guidance from the Gods and Goddesses,yes. But not sacrifice. The only sacrifice needed is the candle, as it burns down.
