First of all, When you die you directly go to hell( not to heaven, you will go to heaven only with the god( if he wants you to came there for your good karma ) and not just by DYING ),

second is if you go to hell you have to face your karma only the bad karma and not the good karma, and you will be punished only for bad karma in the hell and guess what you will be punished only for say about 90-95% of your bad karma and not for all of your bad karma

third is the remaining good karma and remaining bad karma( 5-10% ) will be payed in your next birth, yes you will pay for it only in your next birth
like born with good health, beauty, goodness, and some gifts etc...etc... as a result of your good karma
and born with a low health, disease, handicapped, etc...etc... and some bad things in your life.... as a result of your bad karma

And *Karma is a sanskrit( Oldest Language ) word meaning that:
Karma => good things and bad things that you have done in your entire life

Blessed Be!

there is only a cycle of death and rebirth because of the kamma (Sanskrit karma) we produce from past lifes and the life we live now i held a belief in summer lands thou i have come to see a totally better out look that springs from Buddhism.

Buddhism knows of a third type of kamma a cessation of kamma past and present that leads a person never to reborn again and suffer in this life, its true to say we have a choice to come back or help people as an ascended master etc..thou that's just fantasy of the mind.

without overcoming suffering and clinging one will be put through the cycle of rebirth after death its seems there is no choice on a persons part, the whole reason why we are here is to overcome the cessation of our kamma past and present by overcoming over own suffering leading a path of compassion and not clinging to anything in this world its not an easy road to take thou is well worth the reading up on prajna teachings of the Buddha if one can walk the eight fold path than one goes to a higher level of consciousness in the now and truth is knowing its called Dharma and enlightenment is the goal.

so when one dies there is no rebirth at all but a moving forwards to a newer realm or world that is not knowing to any one of us..

that's the Buddha way and a way of pure awareness and mindfulness that puts the pieces together and gets rid of the illusions and delusions of the mind leading to a more freer life in the now and excelling fast with wisdom, thou hey there are many roads to take in life some fantasy and some deluded cut away the the dirt and you have Buddhism..

yes pwalls but the hypnocist was sceptic and went through the records and found out that this guy was telling the truth.

So he proved scientificaly what happens after death, after hypnotising a few hundred subjects, even though this knowledge was known in the spiritual world, it has been scientificaly proven. i think it was in year 2001 or so.

U see there will always be people like moon saying things they have no clue about, "when u die u go directly to hell", not to mention karma that is something completely different that what he described.

Also, when u die it has been scientificaly proven that u lose exactly 12 grams of weight, which is your soul(you) departing your body. Also it has been proven that death is the most pleasurable feeling u will have in your life, except for the state of enlightment.

My view is that what happens after you die corresponds with your beliefs. That is to say, Atheists simply cease to exist, Wiccans travel to the Summerland and Christians go to heaven or hell (depending on their conduct in life) and so on.

In response to maydayy's earlier comment, it is utterly rude and ignorant to condemn someone's religious beliefs so out of hand like that. In addition, the 21 grams experiment was proven to be falsified and unscientific even around the time it was conducted (early 1900s). Please actually research things before spouting them off in the forums.

Scientifically proven? I would hardly call an experiment that was debunked over a hundred years ago and a television program that you probably made up scientific proof.

it seems you don't no what happens either maydayy.. would suit all to have some respect for others seems this site is filled with childish people of pure fantasy minds, in fact no of us no what will happen, in truth we are all just speculating on some facts and what we have learn to be real may well be deluded, noting that comes form science can be of real value specially on an after life the closest we no of some form of life is the here and now you should always temper wisdom with your own personal experiences and not some deluded speech from people, you will only be inline to be like a sheep following what others says.

anyways try to work on compassion and understanding in the here and now and see peoples points as meat a way to learn and grow rid the rest when finished and perhaps enlightenment can flow.

Ok children play nice now, firstly all that was asked for was "Your Own Opinion On the Afterlife" not to put down other peoples views on it!

And I'm not a Wiccan ect, I was baptisted christian but I do not go to church as I dont see the need to too, as I really disagree with what all mainstream religions stand for, if anything my thinking goes more towards buddhism than anything else.

I actually dont agree with most of what has been said, but that does not give me the right to discredit what has been said.
That is other peoples spiritual belief's which I will respect.

For my own opinion on the matter I do think there is some truth in some research done through LBL(Life Between Lifes) regression, though I would not call this scienctific proof as there hasn't been enough researched cases for it yet.
An article I read about an LBL I found very interesting and holds some of my spiritual views hence why the mention of it.
firstly I dont actually think their is a heaven and hell although I do joke about going to hell alot :P
My belief about the afterlife is that we go to a place(which can be different for different people) where we meet maybe people we know who have passed on before(the reason for there presence is to help us feel secure and help us with what is happening) where we go over what we have learned during our time on earth and if we have not learned the lesson we choose to learn we will be sent back again until it is learned to repeat all the same life lessons as before, on the other hand if we did learn the lesson we choose for ourselfs then we will be offered the choice if we wish to evolve our soul to a higer level and stay in whatever place it is that souls live, or we can choose to reincarnate again to futher our souls more if we wish to do so, I do belief we choose everything that happens to us and which souls that reincarnate with us(with a mutal agrement with them aswell) back to the mention of the LBL article while under her regression she was took back through her past lifes to a state where she was just in a blackness for awhile where she felt loved and happy although it was blackness it was an enjoyable blackness, from there she went on to a space of intense light where the regressionist(this regressionist was a very well respect psychiatrist and also was a sceptic until after this session with his patient) said her voice changed and didn't sound like her, he said it was if she was channelling someone else, then she went on to tell him things about his father and a baby son that had passed away years ago which no one knew about apart from his closest family, with these facts present to him he thought to himself well that was all true so what if everything else that was being said was true.
One of things she said when he said it didn't sound like her was that......

"Our task is to learn, to become God-like through knowledge. We know so little. I have so much to learn. By knowledge we approach God, and the we can rest, Then we come back to teach and help others"

Also this lady said there was an amazing bright light that she was recieving energy from this light. and that the quote above she said came from Masters(highly evolved souls) which you could say are buddas if you wish too or the elightened.

My concept of God is a from of energy that has both male and female aspects and to find God is to find yourself as God is within our souls already. An other reason which supports my own view to myself is that in the book of Genesis 1, line 26 is the mention of the word "our" and not "my"....

E.g "Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth."

Now this fits in with alot of what I beleive about our lifes here and what happens after we leave our physical bodies.

So thats my view on the afterlife I do not wish to argue my case about as it is just what I believe and I do not mind if you dont agree or not as this post only asked for personal views and not a debate about it.

Ok, no bashing try to keep things clean, I have seen many posts get locked because of a simple person saying something that shouldn't have been said.

Now to add my grain, I believe in the rejoining with the One, or the various forms I worship. To find peace, review and learn. Is there a hell or heaven? Maybe, maybe not. What I personally know is that my goal should not be one or the other, but divinity in itself and reaching divinity is controversial, but to me the sole purpose.
