Memory Tricks
By:
I have a special connection with tarot. I am able to read the cards to near perfection. But I am having trouble remembering card elements and meanings. I find myself still having to refer to my guide. I have a few cards memorized but they are my favorites.
Does anyone know any tricks to help me remember?

what deck do you use? with my first deck and even my second (sharman-caselli and rider-waite decks) i could always remember by the general colors of the cards. i.e the wands suit has a lot of red and orange so i remember fire. however some decks out there that stray away from the traditional tarot design (like my zen cards or the most popular dragon decks) dont have it in their color patterns they have a symbol somewhere on the card

you are always free to mail me with questions. i found the best way to remember the meanings is to ditch the traditional meanings, at least at first. figure out what the symbols on the cards mean to you personally and build up from there. once you have determined your own meanings then you can start to learn the traditional meanings and decide if they feel right or apply to your reading. in all reality there are several ways to read each card and it really depends on the individual as to which way works the best
