Spirit Guide Question

Hey guys, so I need some help here.

I, like most people, channel my spirit guide through my pendulum to talk to and mainly to answer yes or no questions for me.

However, lately, hes been getting almost all questions I ask him, wrong. and Im scared that im gonna lose trust in my answers. Hes always gotten the answers right, its just lately i dk. hes been getting them wrong.

Is there a way I can find out whats going on? anyone know good meditation techniques, or if maybe somethings just going on i dk about? Any help would be great. Thanks

I had a similar situation and I used a chant:
"When I question thee thou shall not decieve" and asked it if it was my spirit guide to affirm the presence of my spirit guide. Sorry for the vagueness, my situation was a bit different and for when I first attempted to contact my spirit guide but I thought you might be able to use this advice.

whats the purification ritual? I need it but can't find it!

You can cleanse it with each of the elements, for starters.
