In some ways yes.
One is that one is created to change and manipulate energy for you. (helpfull if YouR not to skilled at it yourself. Or to tale a load of it)
or if you use one as a 'storage' but that might have to come later.

Also if neccessary you can place a servitor into stasis. But it should be placed in a physical object that has some type of connection to its purpose. I have one that I created a long time ago to help me with electronics. Placed it in my psp. So it sleeps till I can remember how to wake the darn thing!

I've heard that if you forget to feed servitors they can wreck havoc. I was told this, so don't quote me on that. just be careful that this doesn't happen to you, for those of you who like to use servitors.
