Recognize this writing?
By:
I went home this weekend and I found this little book charm just chilling on a table, and I asked whose it was. My dad said he found it cleaning and has no idea, so now it's mine :3 It has this curious "writing" on the front and back cover of the book. It feels hollow and I think it may be a mass-produced thing because of this ugly little nub coming off the bottom of it. I think it looks a bit like Arabic, so I guessed maybe it is a mini Qu'ran? Anyone have any ideas? If the photos are too blurry (cellphone pics) I can enhance them on Photoshop.

I think your original impression of it being a Qu'ran may be correct.

I found this picture which is pretty darn close.

( and yea, i forgot to remove the space in your link lol )

Ohh neat picture, I love Muslim stuff. The back cover of my little book is the writing for Allah, I'm pretty sure, going by this picture:

Still a little unclear on the cover. I think it may be "Muhammad"? Going by this:

What is totally weird about the whole thing is that the people who had the place before us were not Muslim (we know them) and well, I don't think it came from my family's stuff because they aren't Muslim nor (as far as I know) have they ever known any Muslim people or been anywhere to get this charm, lol.

Pretty neat :3

Well, I should mention that I have been holding the book wrong XD Arabic is read right-to-left, so my "back" cover reading Allah is technically the front. I've been meaning to get off my butt and learn Arabic.

I hope this little charm is a good omen. I like to try and find luck and 'signs' in whatever I can, it's just a little quirk... my way of making the most out of the moment. I've been having a pretty poopy year, so maybe it's just a sign that I'm being looked over :)

yes this is arabic

one side having the word "allah"
and the other one is "muhammed"

its said that wearing it protects you from evil and most importantly believing in it do.
