Lycanthrophy is a disease, so perhaps you might try a different term WitchSJT. I agree your story is a little....hard to believe, but I'm not going to call you a liar either. You see a lot of people here would take what you say the way B_H did, but please don't be offended. What you say is hard for others to believe just as it is when the topic of vampires or other forms of Kindred appear here.
I'm an open-minded individual, and an understanding one too. B_H, the way you say things does come off in a rude manner. I've posted things in such a manner before and gone back and apologized when I realized it was taken the wrong way. I'm not telling you what to do, but I'm just trying to get you to see what you are doing, as to prevent you from saying anything that might get you into trouble with the mods.
I'm familiar with Kindred too, and I have not come across much on Werewolves other than that they are nothing like what has been found in films.

I agree. WitchSJT, please don't provoke B_H it will only make it worse. I believe in giving everyone the shadow of a doubt, and honestly from the stories I have heard your story is by far the most believable that I have heard. You presented yourself in a well educated manner on the topic, and you did not come here claiming her were immortal and changed into an all powerful beast on the full moon.
Again there are a lot of Kindred here. You just need to know where to look.
Well, as for a site I would try and google-up something if I were you Anaid and take it for there. You can learn more here though as every once in a while there is valuable information.
Now as for what you have already said, I won't disregard it as false simply because it can be true. It is a interesting story to say the least though, I would'nt mind hearing the rest if there is more since you've decided to start the tale.
I suggest you join an otherkin society on the web. There are many. Otherkin.org is where I would begin. You will speak with a larger crowd that can give you more accurate information.. and a lot more of it than you would find here.
