Adon Post # 1 Aug 05, 2009 Im not sure what u people are thinking on here. For those of u that dont know i was once known as NiteShade on here. High Priest of Midnight Magick for a while. All i have to say is that the covens are full of people just wanting attention. I am personally boycotting every coven on here. This site has went down hill since i first started....no offense to petrarch. It went from a site where those who truly understood magick could instruct those that wanted to learn to a playground for kids that just want to be like those they see in movies. And ill be the first to say...that is not real magick.

There are still allot of people on here who do not appreciate these role-players, and you are not helping anyone by starting a thread like this. By starting a thread like this you only really insult the people who are not role-players, the people who are role-players I am sure do not care. Say and do as you will, but this does nothing other then show how immature and assumptive you are.

Actually, you are about the fiftieth I think. Give or take a person or two. Allot of people have been fighting what you pointed out and allot of people have been telling the truth about Hollywood, but to many people join who only hear what they want to hear. If they make a thread asking to become a vampire and you tell them that such a feat is impossible, they will either simply ignore your post entirely or they will delete the entire thread. You are not the only person disgusted by these lies.

Maybe if all the ''older members'' stuck around long enough then we could all decide on the best possible way to guide the ones who do wish to learn and ignore the RP'ers like we do in most threads. Its very easy to ridicule others but harder to actually admit that some do need help and guidance. When will we see a thread giving out ''well done or congrats'' to them who actually deserve it?

Adon Post # 5 Aug 06, 2009 Well dae..first off i would like to say thanks for responding to my post. Now on with the proving you wrong portion. I did not claim to be the only person disgusted by these lies. However i do not think it is wrong for me to want those that are like me and find these lies to be stomach turning to stick together and not play these ''role players'' games. I simply want those that are sick of having magick, something part of many religions, scrutinized to stand up and tell these kids the way it is. The ones that want to learn the truth will stay and the ones that get irritated that what they want is not possible will leave. Then maybe we can have a place to instruct and learn again. As for you wilted...i would like to say that you are right. It is very easy to ridicule others. That is something im not trying to do. Im simply trying to use tough love. I love magick and its true nature and seeing kids on here treating it like its a game is insulting. Therefore i will from now on tell these people the way it is. If they dont like it...i dont really care. And for those of you on here that think the role players have a right to be on here too you need to get a grip.

If you're going to round up the real practitioners on here and if that was the real point in this thread, then I'm with you. But reading this, ''I am personally boycotting every coven on here'' tells me you have already decided there is not a single good coven, and I know there are a few you could not have looked into during your short time back here.

Krim99 Post # 8 Aug 06, 2009 Okay i havent been on here long, and im not experienced with magic as of yet. But i do agree with Adon in the fact that we need to either get rid of the rpers or at the very least set them straight so they can leave or take it seriously as they choose. I understand that as kids, ppl are more open to the concept of magic, but they show tremendous disrespect to the more experienced at times. This is, as adon said, a place of learning and knowledge. But what are we gonna do? As Dae said, they are stubborn and will flat out ignore you if you dont tell them what they want to hear. If you dont take it seriously, or at least respect those who do, you should not be here.

connor Post # 9 Aug 07, 2009 heres my view : the RPers are a part of this site as your soul is a part of yourself without the RPers to make it look bad and childish there would be no alternative so the actual magisters would be disregarded as role players aswell, long story short if there was no bad points we would have a hard time acknowledging the good points ps Adon how can you have a go about ''kids'' trying to act like their favourite programs or movies when your picture is of the list of reasons for it?

An illness, a sickness, they are a disease that should be removed. They are in no way a boon except when regarding our humor. They are in every way a bane, as they make us all look bad and often insult the more experienced and serious practitioners.
