All religions make mistakes, but blame the regime, not the followers.

I would say that you should blame the people because
people are corruptible.It doesnt matter how perfect the ideology is
because humans are prone to mistake.More mistakes they make the less is their ideology good/perfect/illuminating.

To be wiccan is to care about others around you, Never bringing anyone that you love harm, So ... No... Wicca is not evil and should NEVER be shunned.

It true that there is magick used for evil, but wicca is not part of it. Many television programs are the main causes for this. Too much mis-information, for eg. it was in some comedy movie (can't remember the name) they called a male witch wiccan. One eg of total nonsense. To much producers just place nonsense across books and television. You just have to pierce through the lies although its not always easy.

if they attack you go on the offensive many pagans don't do that. say something like "what kind of all loving being would make you suffer forever for not worshiping it" grrr hate it when people act like there doing to you.
PS There more likely to be thrown in hell for there hate than us
