oic... there's a simple way of doing it, moonkitty^^ whenever i talk with animals, i try to imagine a line connecting the animal with me and thn talk with them mentally. at first, you may know they are talking to you but you cant hear them clearly. so try to practice more and you will be able to hear what they are saying.
Some witches rear Black cats or pets for helping them in rituals and doing magical works.

Hi. I agree withqingyee. My cat was sleeping and I did what they said and her eyes burst open and she started purring like crazy.

Me too my parents dont want me to do this things but their not my boss.

In reguards to a spell, I would suggest to look up the spells you seek on here, read about correspondences and learn how to create your own spell. In the mean time I would strongly encourage you to meditate in nature and learn to appreciate nature. Walk around and feel the grass on your feet, talk to trees and plants (in your mind through touch if it is better for you) and watch and try to relate to animals. Open your heart and mind to how great nature and animals are and you will build a relationship with all of nature. Once you can truly appreciate nature you open up to be able to "talk" or sense what nature has to tell you. At that point you also start to project that love and animals will feel safe to connect with you.

I can speak with various types of birds. Even to the extent of giving commands, but it wasn't given to me by a spell.

You may want to spiritually connect you and your cat. Meditating, grounding/centering with him would probably be a good idea as well as daily visualization. Also (I know this sounds weird) but cats that are close clean each other so you might want to softly lick his head. If he gets mad, don't do it again. (
