awesome, I'm glad I posted it now, I helped polki remember something and Zeat learned that there are some people who have a little extra time who want to help others, even if it is by creating one of the longest threads they have ever seen. lol

Good thread Silver, though most newb questions I see are, "how can I summon a demon" or "how do I turn into a vampire/werewolf/mermaid" or "I need a curse/love/flying spell."

Glad you put this here, maybe they will actually look before asking silly questions. :)

Unfortunetly though, people will always ask silly questions, and usualy the same ones just by diff people. The newb factor is never ending. In some ways though, I would have to blame society at a whole, I mean it has kind of declined over the years as far as morals, ethics, and over all what is right and good for humanity.

I know this sounds a bit generalized, and yes I know there are people that are good and noble and all that, but I know far more people who blindly follow the norms of society(and not just the ones to get by in the world we live).

Anyways, thats my bit for now,
Glim

I have read SilverVixen's long post, and not only once. It has a great deal of common sense, and good advice. Especially in the basics of meditation and visualising, and the importance of breath control. From an early age I was taught breath control (I was a choirboy) and later when I became a professional singer, breath control was, and is, very important. Most professional entertainers also use visualising. Before every show, I would spend a half hour or so "visualising" my performance; seeing myself as though I was standing behind myself, and visualising the effect on the audience;"listening" to how I was singing to the best of my ability; "listening" to applause. That half hour of visualising does absolute wonders for the confidence needed to face a large audience. And all the other information given in SilverVixen's post is magic in itself!
