Enough with gibberish , Lilith is mother to incubi and sucibi and has NOTHING ( ! ) to do with vampires or witches honestly ( status of "goddess" she got in Neo Wicca , but that was recently and it is not approved in occultism nor traditional Wicca and it is considered ignorant ) . Research Kabala and Judaism ( where the being originated from ) . Someone at the beginning of the thread said true , she was the first wife of Adam that betrayed him , and run away . She was allegedly found on the sea cost ( I think it was Egeic sea ) coupling with demons . Since then she was banished and became an archdemon , lthat induces lust , often referred Night owl in Kabala , said to also kills newborns .

As I said she is mother of all incubi and sucubi, so If You wanna trace her family tree , You have plenty ofher children :S

Also Someone said Vampires originated from Egypt ? What won't people invent ! The first vampire outbreak occurred in Southern Serbia , and this is documented in German war diaries and acknowledged as first documented and confirmed appearance of vampire in occultism . There is no discussion about that , as it is a fact that can be checked, and any decent occultist can confirm this. Also I have quite some knowledge of Egyptian culture and I never heard of concept of vampire in it . We must not confuse ( !!!! ) myths about beings with fangs , or beings that drunk blood for vampires . Vampires are vampires , they are not Lamias, Kali's chioldren or anything alike . Even the world ethymology is Serbian , and you can verify this by simple goggling .

We should not teach others with our opinions on subjects that are established , You would not come to someone who asks You to calculate 3x2 , In my opinion it is 7. It is 6 and that is fact . Occultism has demonology as a branch of science on magick and it includes Vampires and Lilith , amon many other things . So lets not “bend” the facts so they suit our points of view an personal phylosphy.

Shadow: What you said about Lilith is what I heard and read as well. I've also heard She is the mother of Fae, which is wrong. 0_o I don't know where people get their info.

As for Vamps originating in Egypt, that came from Anne Rice novels. If I believed in actual blood sucking-eternally living vampires (as opposed to Sanguine Vampires, which is a sect, and Psychic Vampires), I would guess they would come from Eastern Europe, as that is where the stories originate.

There a several variations of both the Lillith and vampire myths, both of which date back to pre-roman eras. It is near impossible to trace such myths back to their origins, and though some people try, often all it leads to is arguements. Pretty much everything here I have seen at least one place else, and it would be impossible to try and say one is right and another is wrong.
