The word 'demon' (though when reffering to malicious spirits I preffer to say daemon because the 'a' somehow conjures up images of blood) is just a generic word for any type of malicious spirit. The word demon was just invented by Christianity, other cultures had their own particular name for evil spirits.
Anyway, if you're dealing with a lesser daemon just try using a lesser magick shield, or a psionics shield, or the Lesser banishing Ritual of the Pentagrambecause it doesn't take that much enrgy to deal with a lesser daemon and once you kill it they're gone for good. However if you're dealing with a greater daemon, use the GBRP (Greater banishing ritual of the pentagram) because if you kill a greater daemon its sould returns to the realm itm came from, its aetheric body regenerates and just comes back - you need to properly banish it from your home.
how exatcly do you go about learning offensive magic, for lack of a less dumb sounding phrase that seems so high level, where as its hard to even get started
id like to say that evildude's comment is VERY reassuring, and also reasking the question... where do i begin with offensive magicks, becuase pentamagic is so impractical.
