the philosophers stone and alchemy has always intrested me, but as stated before such things are very dangerous, i suggst not dabbling, if you must, absolutely must go farther, devote yourself to many years of practice and learning before actually attempting anything alchemic, but still, i dont suggest it

This might sound weird coming from someone who does magic, but you cant turn something into gold. Gold is a base element. It's on the periodic table. That means you can's combine two things to make it, you cant do that with anything on the table. Think about it. Precious stones on the other hand could be another thing. I'v read that there are a few angels that can change stones into gems, but only for a certain amount of time.

in one belief the stone was considered a talisman of knowledge.
which i could believe. cuase then the stone would have given its wearer or wat ever you did wit it would give that person the knowledge to do the stuff that it was belived to do. it could of given the wearer the knowledge to make metal into gold, the knowledge of how to get eternal life.

If you seek the philosophers the you will end up messing with alchemy and its to much of a risk.

There was once a neckalace called a pinchback i think, and it couldnt be told apart from gold i think thew man who invented it took his secret with him lol
