Hello, I'm new to spell casting. I haven't chosen a path yet, but I'm thinking of learning more about White Magic and practicing. I'm still looking at other paths though! I'm also learning how to read the Tarot and dowse with a pendulum. Currently, I'm practicing reading Lenormand cards, since I find them easier to learn because they often have a single image on each of the 36 cards.

Southeast Asian mythology
I come from a predominantly Catholic country, as evidenced by the photo I chose. While many people claim to only worship the Holy Trinity, those same people practice what they do not probably realize are holdovers from our animistic past, such as asking a mound of dirt permission to pass through, because it is the home of a dwarf. Or refusing to sweep at night, because evil spirits might enter through the open doors. A lot of people also believe in Feng Shui because they want good luck, but I think that's because there are a lot of Chinese living in the country. The point is, we may be nominally Catholic, but do a lot of stuff that is decidedly un-Catholic that I want to know where those stuff come from
Mythology in general
I like to read about different cultures' mythologies and religions because I want to know their culture. I want to know why they look at the world this way, because I want to understand peoples living far, far away from me.
Crystals
Oh, how beautiful they are! But alas, my budget (and living space) cannot allow such things. I'm particularly fond of rose quartz, for its lovely color and its calming qualities. I'm quite lucky to have a small one on my bracelet. I'm interested in crystals for healing and divination purposes, but I'm limited to what I can find on the Internet.
