LaFortune in my mind there is a friend who from time to time will send messages to me she explains how pain twists and alters the way we look at society people and things that often bring confusion to my over imaginative brain my friend tells me to remain calm take a step back from the pack from head shrinking thinkers tunnel vision people wearing blinkers they just cant see people like animals feed from one another they are human covers that smother one another i bleed from my prison of flesh and bone i am in a place where i am alone my barbwire eyes hide my disguise i scream from within so no one can hear my cries i hide my tears behind lonely fears that's when i think of you my wife my lover my friend you are an angel to me you put me at ease you make me feel real you kiss my pains away show me hope happiness love chase away the things i am scared of throw away my mask take the time to ask if i am really ok making my life easier at least for today
