My full name is Shaelynn Moonshaddow and I've been practicing the craft since I was only 16 back in the 80's. For those younger practitioners that was before the internet we have today and you don't know what a blessing it is. At that time the only info we could get was from books but as witchcraft was not only ridiculed and unaccepted not many practiced so books stores rarely carried the books. After a pretty good search I finally found The Book of Modern Witchcraft. I was so excited but it wasn't modern at all one spell called for the bones of a whole cat and I could swear one called for tongue of toad and eye of newt, and it told nothing of how to draw energy or intention. I had to figure it for myself I still don't know how but I did and I got it right. So having websites like this to learn, meet and talk with other like minded people is priceless. I don't belong to a particular religion but I lean mostly toward Celtic and Druidic traditions, being of Irish descent. I'm also Cherokee and my great great grandma was a real medicine woman who taught my grandma about all the herbal medicines. Unfortunately by the time I was old enough to learn she had forgotten most of what she was taught so I'm trying to learn on my own but I ask my grama and great great grandma for guidance. I've been married 20yrs, have 3 boys 21, 19, & 15 and my oldest is married and has a son that will be 2ys in May. I love to make friends with any like mined people, younger people welcome too, I'm very young at heart and really relate to younger people. My kids friends always loved me cause I'm so relatable. And of course I want to friend my age to and even older we all have something to learn from someone and something to teach someone.
