My name is Amalia Akata. Of course this is only an alias, but on here, I think this name better suits me.
I am not new to the arcane arts. However, I am a beginner, only able to do simple things such as maybe create a small breeze or wind. I'm working on other things such as manipulating water and fire. (I have found this incredibly difficult, but possible.) And yes, I know there are people who won't believe me when I say I can do these things. All I have to say to them is look around you. There is magic all around us. In the breeze, the trees, when it rain, when it snows, and when it's just downright broiling. Those things, I believe, are magic in the works. And something in us, if practiced, can manipulate those things into what we might want.
I have two teachers. One who teaches me physical training, i.e. swordplay, stealth, hand-to-hand, etc. The other who teaches me the Arcane Arts, the history of it, the different divines he believes in, history in general, etc. One of them, I am currently in a relationship with. Both are very wise and are very old souls. I am here, however, to learn more. I love to learn more about magic. Not so much that I'd delve into the darker arts, but I think you may know what I mean.
Now here's a little on my personality. I'm a kind and caring person, but also very protective of those I care for. I'm very passionate about certain things and can get in a heated discussion with someone about those things sometimes, but never to the point where I get violent. Unfortunately, due to my biological father's blood, I can have a bit of a short temper if provoked. It's one of those things about me that I am learning to control. Both my teachers are helping me in this matter. I can also be very suborn. This can be, in certain circumstances, a blessing. In others, a curse. I get that more from my mother. Otherwise, I am an all out good person I think. I am a social bug, and get along with people great. My friends would probably tell you I am a great friend, someone you can talk to and will listen. In some cases, I have given advice to those who are much older than me, which I tend to be a little proud of. So if you ever need advice, feel free to message me. :)
I am an artist. Not the best of course, but I consider myself ok at least. I still have some kinks to iron out. I am a huge music fanatic and can actually concentrate better when I have music blaring in my ears heheh. It even effects my abilities when training in both magic and swordplay. I am also a writer and am currently working on a book. So far, I've been hitting more bumps than I'd like heheh. But that's part of the fun. :)
