Hello all, and thank you for looking at my profile. My name is Maure, although you may also address me as Unknown. I joined this site on request of friends, although I admit to being new to this resource I am not new to the occult, its studies, or its practice. Yes I am in a relationship so please do not ask me out! Or hit on me.. or anything else of that sort.
Who am I and what do I represent? I am a thirst for knowledge, someone who loves to both learn and question everything around me. Give me something you cant explain, and I will either explain it to you on the spot, or work with you until we both have a solid answer. "How does that pertain to magic? That sounds more like science!" It is both, using one to explain the other. Magic does exist in our times, although in my personal opinion I would say to call it magic is for those who are studied in it, for those who do not have a decent knowledge on the subject, the basics are indeed in science.
Do you believe in magical or mythical creatures?
Yes I do, but not anywhere near the light Hollywood has bestowed upon them. My beliefs follow closer to aboriginal traditional beliefs of spirit animals. I believe they have an effect on us and are able to grant us knowledge, that we can then turn into rather powerful gifts. I would say they are more part of the spirit to some. I do not believe in physical beings, but spiritual that can have a physical effect, that I honestly do.
As for if I have them, and what I have if I do. That is my own business, my close friends know. Information for information, is a fair trade I believe, and remember when you make a deal with the devil, to smile nicely girls and boys!
