I was given the name Scarlet Phoenix in a dream, before I had any idea what the occult even was. Since then, the phoenix has followed me everywhere. Right down to a coworker (who is a tattoo artist) telling me he had a dream that he was tattooing a phoenix on my back. It's never referred to as an eagle, or any other kind of bird. Always a phoenix. So I have decided to give in, and learn how to channel this energy. I've always been able to control my environment by focus/target thought, but I have never been able to explain it. After reading a bit on the subject, according to paganism, it may have something to do with me being a Halloween baby.
Prior to discovering this site, I became fascinated/ enlightened by LaVeyan Satanism. Although there are a few things about the belief that I can't seem to fit into, I agree with the general idea and aspect of life. I'd love to learn more.
Anyway, I'm still new to this, but I have quite an open mind about it all... I know that we are always learning, always growing, and the information is ever-expanding. I look at this belief as a gift that's been given to me, and it's my job to foster it.
