I greatly enjoy the company of animals, especially dogs.
I am a closet wiccan and armchair student of several beliefs of the world, but I will never claim to know enough. I very much enjoy gemstone casting; a small 'possibles bag' of my stones keeps me safe as a charm.
I spend a lot of time dreaming and creating. I love to write and art and film and music (though I can't play a note or sing), as well as nearly anything that can inspire feelings in others.
I love and admire history, and my interest lay in all of it, but the Age of Discovery and older are my favorites.
I am also, almost to a fault, a fan of sci-fi and fantasy. But that is for another time :)
I work in a pretty demanding field as a caregiver, however I don't consider this a place to boast. However, if asked I will oblige.
I joined Spells of Magic in order to learn about that which interests me most as far as choosing a belief system to follow. I am a mix heritage of Welsh-Scot-Norman-French and the tales of my family and involvement in several differing forms of witchcraft and druidism is spread sporadically through my family tree as well as that of mainstream religion. A few instances mention a mixture of both.
I myself, was most enticed by the thought of Wicca, I really feel that deity has and needs the feminine aspect to become a governing source. I do believe in faerie and ghosts and dragons, and more-so, though the real world manifests them as something tangible and mundane.
I hunger for more knowledge and to share that which I know with others of like mind, who are not going to judge and cast me aside for voicing what others may call, for the lack of a better term, impossible.
