First things first, I have been following the Wiccan path for about six years now, and I am usually a very happy, energetic person until someone or something sets me off. I love to be spontaneous, smile, laugh, sleep, read, write, swim, help people, hang out with friends, and be with my wonderful, amazing fiance, Paul. I love all animals (except spiders and bees) but I have an especially soft spot in my heart for dogs. I like a lot of things that people find "weird" or "unladylike," such as knives, plants, scary movies, metal music, combat boots, and basically standing out. I love the Gothic/Emo/whatever-you-want-to-label-it culture, especially the dark clothes and makeup and very dark, poetic point of view. I like to believe I am a purple Froot Loop in a world of Cheerios :)
I don't hate many things, but the five things I absolutely cannot stand are mayonnaise, liars, posers, cheaters, and discrimination, and I will stand up for a complete stranger if they are being criticized for who they are. (That is, in fact, how I met one of my best friends.) One of my favorite things to say to the people who discriminate is "If you don't like what you see, look away." Although I am often very timid and cautious when it comes to trusting people, I am fiercely protective of the ones I love, and don't mind taking a few punches to protect them. I used to be very sensitive to rumors about me, but because of Paul I now go by this standard:
*As long as you know the truth, who cares what others think?*
I believe that everything happens for a reason and that there are no coincidences. I believe we are all here for a purpose, but we do not find out what that purpose is until the right time. I also believe that people can change because I obviously did. All they need is proper motivation.
