Personal Bio
With over 30 years of daily study, meditation, and practice, Michael has been a member of numerous magickal, mystical, and esoteric spiritual orders. He is a 32° Mason, Knight, ordained interfaith minister, and also holds various lines of apostolic succession. An initiated Druid in the Order of Druids in Ulster and the Old Gaelic Order, Michael is also deeply involved in the study and practice of cross-cultural folk magick and shamanism.
Michael views the universe as a magickal structure and argues that we are all capable of doing magick. He believes that practical magick can be easy, creative, meaningful, and rewarding and that it's best to work naked—naked of preconceived beliefs about what is or isn't possible.
Michael Coltrane, M.S., MSW, completed doctoral-level training specializing in the study of consciousness and spirituality. He is a mental health counselor, hypnotherapist, social worker, college instructor, and certified NLP trainer. Michael is also an avid martial arts and qigong practitioner.
