A drawing of a heart dripping blood

On an auspicious Night of Venus as Luna waxeth.... On a piece of parchment draw a Heart dripping blood. On the reverse scribe Thy name and the name of Thy lover. Thou shouldst anoint a small red candle with Love Oil and place it upon the heart drawn on the parchment.
As Thou setest the spark to the wick, chantest Thou these words thrice:
BURN, FLAME, LIGHT THIS LOVE
BRIGHT AS THE STARS ABOVE.
CAUSE LOVE'S HEART TO BEAT FOR ME.
LIGHT THIS PASSION FOR ALL TO SEE.
Let the candle burn to ten minutes before Thou extinguisheth it iwth Thy fingers. Thou must repeat this chant again thrice as the flame goeth out. Repeatest the spell daily until the candle be consumed.
