Generic Binding Spell

Ingredients

A piece of paper and something to write with
A sigil for binding
Black ribbon or black thread

Description

This is a simple but effective binding that can be applied to a person to prevent them from performing any action you believe they need to stop.

Spell Casting

Write the target's full name on a piece of paper, and draw a binding sigil over top of that; if you can get a picture of them, all the better, but it’s not required.

The sigil’s intent could be whatever applies best to your situation - something like “[target’s name] is bound from [action]” or “[target] is unable to [action].” Make it as specific to the situation and the action you wish them to cease as possible.

When you are done doing that, roll up the piece of paper as tightly as you can, and either wrap it up completely in black ribbon, or tie it very securely with many loops and knots of black thread. Repeat some variation of your sigil’s intent out loud if you want, or something like “I bind you, [target’s name], from [action];” you can “chant” it mentally too.

Focus on your intent for the target to stop being a total jerk to you, for their negative actions towards you to cease, etc.

Tuck the paper-bundle away somewhere dark. You can either leave it like that, to keep them bound from doing the thing for as long as you want, or you can undo it when you think they’ve learned their lesson.
