Blessing your Book of Shadows

A quick guide on how to bless your Book of Shadows by using the moon's energies.

Needed materials:
- Your book of shadows with unwritten pages
- Incense - pennyroyal, anise or rue
Preparations/ritual:
At the time of the Full Moon, take your Book of Shadows and the incense of your choosing outside.
Under the light of the Full Moon, draw a pentagram on the first page, and under this write the current date, time, place and your magical name, you may also write the moon's phase and any other information you feel is important.
Now hold the book up to the moon and chant:
"Here as the Full Moon shines upon me, bless this book I've made tonight. I humbly ask this of thee, underneath your most sacred light."
Your Book of Shadows is now blessed by the moon's energies.
